The season is a grind. Games, practices, and showcases put incredible stress on a young athlete’s body. Peak performance tomorrow depends on smart recovery today. That’s why we created Recover & Reset—a vital weekly camp designed not just to build skill, but to build resilience. This program will help adolescent baseball and softball players improve recovery, reduce injury risk, and maintain their edge throughout the season.

What is Recover & Reset?

This 75-minute weekly session is an active “reset” for the athlete’s body. Led by our expert trainers, this is not a skills camp (like hitting or pitching), but a crucial investment in your physical longevity and on-field performance. Players will be guided through a circuit of restorative movements and educational modules designed to keep them healthy, strong, and competing at their best.

Each Session Includes:

  • Dynamic Warm-Up: Learn how to properly prepare your body for practice and games, activating key muscle groups to maximize performance and reduce injury risk.

  • Active Recovery Circuit: This isn’t about lying on the floor. We guide athletes through light, restorative movements that promote blood flow, decrease muscle soreness, and accelerate the body’s natural healing process.

  • Arm Care & Shoulder Maintenance: The cornerstone of a long career. We focus on essential protocols using bands and bodyweight exercises to build shoulder stability, improve mobility, and protect your arm.

  • Active Stretching & Mobility: Increase your functional range of motion in your hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders. Greater mobility unlocks new levels of power and is one of the best defenses against common baseball and softball injuries.

  • Recovery Education & Mindset: We empower athletes with the “why” behind recovery. Learn about hydration, sleep, and how to develop the mindset and habits of an elite, durable athlete.

Camp Details

  • WHEN: Every Monday from 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM

  • WHO: Athletes Ages 12+

  • WHERE: The Batter’s Den (2408 Walter Payton Memorial Hwy, Oswego, IL 60543)

  • COST: $20 per Camper / per Session

  • WHAT TO BRING: Please wear comfortable athletic attire and bring a water bottle. No other equipment is needed!
